Jewellery Care
Congratulations on your purchase of the most beautiful creations in the world. Please consider the following advice when caring for your jewellery.
Pearl Care
Wait until after applying make up, perfume and hair products to put on your Jewellery, some chemicals may harm pearls.
Store your pearl Jewellery wrapped in a soft cloth to protect it from rubbing against harder gems or abrasive objects.
Occasionally, clean your pearls gently with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol diluted with warm water or in a mild soapy water. Rinse the cloth in fresh water and wipe pearls clean. Dry with a clean soft cloth.
Strands will require rethreading periodically, depending on how often they are worn. It is advisable to seek guidance annually on rethreading.
Enamel Care
Please keep enamel away from detergents, chlorine, perfume, soap, ultrasonic and liquid jewelry cleaners. Using a soft toothbrush, gently brush your jewelry with warm water and a mild liquid soap. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
Gold Care
Gold jewelry can be adversely affected by prolonged or repeated exposure to chlorine or other chemicals in cleaning products. In order to prevent abrasions and prolong the luster of your jewelry, it is recommended that you remove it when cleaning.
The best way to clean gold jewelry is to use a solution of warm water and detergent-free soap with a soft-bristled brush. Once the item has been polished, it should be cleaned with a jewelry cleaning solution or a specialized jewelry polishing cloth.
It is recommended that you store your gold pieces in soft cloth bags or in the original box when they are not being worn.
Diamond Care
Diamonds exhibit remarkable durability, are resistant to scratches (except by other diamonds), and maintain their brilliance over time. However, diamonds are not indestructible. Diamonds may be chipped by a sharp blow, become loose in a weak setting, or be damaged by contact with other diamonds.
Diamond jewellery should be worn with care and stored in soft boxes or bags, separate from other jewellery. Diamond jewellery should be cleaned by wiping it with a lint-free cloth or with warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush, or by dipping it briefly in a commercial cleaning solution. Have your diamond jewellery periodically cleaned and its setting examined by a professional jeweller to maintain its beauty and integrity over time.
